Demi Vollering also reigns supreme in the Basque Country in 2023. After winning all the stages of Itzulia last year, she remains unbeaten this season too. A bis number for Demi Vollering and Team SD Worx in Itzulia Women! After controlling the race for a whole day and being alert at the front, Vollering slipped into the decisive breakaway. Itzulia Women heralded the start of the second part of the season. The multi-day stage race began with a difficult opening stage, which was convincingly won by Demi Vollering.
