Lonneke Uneken is starting her fourth season in the colours of Team SD Worx. "I feel at home here. Right from the first winter, this felt like a family. Everyone helps each other. That is also the strength of this team. We all understand that we need each other to get better ourselves, but also to win races. What you do for another, you always get back."
For Lonneke Uneken, 2023 means a new start. Sports manager Danny Stam explains: "Lonneke experienced a difficult year in which things did not go as wanted. 2023 means a reset, for which she’s taking a different path. For example, she will leave the track for a while and will focus completely on the road. She has great potential, so I hope those little steps we have been expecting from her for a number of years will come out in full this season."
Uneken is already looking ahead to the new season with confidence. "My goal this year is to win races," she said.

My goal this year is to win races. We have a strong squad and everyone can reap the benefits of that.
Team SD Worx sets the tone in women's cycling. So the best team in the world deserves an eye-catching kit. Once again, we opt for a colourful design, but with a unique twist. The result is a cool bold jersey, with a neon touch.
Sovereignly, Team SD Worx defended the number one position in the UCI rankings for teams last season. For the sixth time in seven years, the team also managed to win the WorldTour classification. No fewer than 20 victories were recorded, including 11 wins at WorldTour level. Sports manager Danny Stam therefore looks back on the 2022 season with satisfaction.
